You can downhill ski in the Beaver Valley at either Talisman Mountain Resort or the Beaver Valley Ski Club.
You might choose to hike along the Bruce Trail; or ski 25 km. of challenging cross-country trails just 5 min. from Markdale at Glenelg Nordic Ski Club. There are several excellent golf courses in the area. There are many other outdoor activities in the Centre Grey area including canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing, visiting impressive water falls, cycling, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, organized sports, and more.
