Just minutes from Markdale, Flesherton or Dundalk, one can downhill ski in the Beaver Valley at either Talisman Mountain Resort or the Beaver Valley Ski Club.

You might choose to hike along the Bruce Trail; or ski 25 km. of challenging cross-country trails just 5 min. from Markdale at Glenelg Nordic Ski Club. The Markdale Country Club has not only an excellent nine hole golf course, but an active curling club with dedicated ice sheets, and a two-court tennis facility. There are many outdoor activities in the Centre Grey area; canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing, visiting impressive water falls, cycling, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, organized sports, and more.

Nearby: Downhill ski at Blue Mountain; play award-winning new golf courses; take advantage of Georgian Bay marinas, Lake Huron & Georgian Bay beaches, aquatic facilities, camping, several conservation areas, Harrison Park, cycling clubs, and more.
