We're a rural area, two hours' drive from the university cities of Toronto, Hamilton, Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo and London, and we boast some of southern Ontario's most stunning scenery.

We're slated to have a new acute care hospital and a primary care facility in Markdale, the very centre of Grey County and central to our catchment area. We currently have one hospital, three active medical clinics - in Markdale, Flesherton and Dundalk - and our regional hospital is in the nearby scenic city of Owen Sound.

Our natural heritage is world-renowned. Our outdoor recreation opportunities are endless. We have dynamic entrepreneurs, a burgeoning artistic community, and a proud agricultural heritage.
